Swan Shannacappo says it is to draw attention to the situation of First Nations people affected by the flooding of Lake Manitoba.&amp;nbsp; The SCO media release says there is no end in sight and no return date for many First Nations residents affected by the artificial flooding of 2011.&amp;nbsp; The rally is scheduled from 11 am to 3 pm. &lt;span style="font-size: 16pt; line-height: 115%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Swan Shannacappo has been elected chief of Rolling River First Nation, and with the consent of the Southern Chiefs will stay on as Grand Chief until a by-election can be held in September.&amp;nbsp; Shannacappo made the announcement on the S-C-O show on NCI FM last evening.&amp;nbsp; Shannacappo is staying on to continue the fight over the flooding of Manitoba First Nations in 2011.&amp;nbsp; He is serving his second term as Grand Chief, first elected in June 2007.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;
