Robberies in Norway House

RCMP are looking for a suspect they describe as “dangerous and may be armed” after a pair of armed robberies in Norway House.  Late Sunday night, two mask-wearing males threatened employees with weapons before fleeing Anderson’s Convenience Store with cash and cigarettes.  18-year old Kevin Folster Flett is alleged to have been one of the two robbers and is charged with armed robbery.  The second suspect is still at large.  He’s 22-year old Allan Cromarty.

Also in Norway House, in the early morning hours Valentine’s Day, a masked man walked into the Norway House Multiplex VLT Gaming Centre.  The cashier was threatened and the perpetrator walked out with cash.  No arrests have been made in relation to the armed robbery at the Norway House Gaming Centre. Police continue to investigate.

UPDATE:  February 17th, 2012

Cromarty was taken into custody last night in Cross Lake.
