Arrest made in latest Winnipeg murder

A 21 year old Winnipeg man is facing a charge of second degree murder for his alleged involvement in a fatal shooting last weekend.

Police believe that Tristan Stewart Bradburn showed up at Geoffrey Reid’s house on Alexander Street early in the evening last Saturday.

They believe the men got into a fight which ended when Bradburn produced a firearm and shot the 27-year-old Reid.

Wounded but able to move, Reid escaped on foot and eventually made his way to the 400 block of Pacific Avenue.

That’s where he was found by police and emergency crews. Reid died after being taken to hospital in critical condition.

Bradburn was arrested yesterday morning in downtown Winning.  He is currently being held in custody at the remand centre.
