Brand New NCI Morning Show: Manitoba Wake Up Crew

Tuesday, June 04, 2013

Big news is brewing over here at NCI FM! We have a brand new morning show starting this Monday, June 10th! Please give a big welcome to our new Manitoba Wake Up Crew, Alix Michaels and Ryan Anderson (Schultz).

They are getting ready to bring you the best of country, entertainment and music news! Join them every weekday morning from 6-10am.

Transforming talk into a career is what Alix Michaels is known for. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she made her debut on the radio and trust us, she hasn’t stopped talking since. She started as a local rock jock and then branched out by taking her conversation to the states. Her first stop was New Hampshire, followed by Minnesota and then Myrtle Beach, SC. After a few years of working in the States, Alix’s heart and voice were won back by Manitoba and she headed home. Her career in Manitoba took off and her voice has been heard on over 7 radio stations throughout Canada. In 2007, she started her own voice work company, SheVoice Productions. This means you can travel across the globe and Alix’s voice may follow you from St.Maarten to Florida, Minnesota, St.Kitts, Australia, Toronto and New Brunswick …just to name a few. And now, lucky for us Manitobans, we can hear Alix every weekday morning right here as co-host of Manitoba Wake Up Crew on NCI.

No stranger to the good ol’ country life Ryan Anderson (Schultz) was raised in Val Marie, Saskatchewan. From one small community to the next, Ryan made the move to Manitoba’s City of Sunshine, Dauphin. In Dauphin he worked for the Dauphin Kings Hockey Club and CKDM Radio. He’s somewhat of a sports guy listing playing hockey, baseball and football as his hobbies. He moved back to Saskatchewan to pursue his passion in radio at 620 CKRM- The Voice of the Saskatchewan Rough Rider and kept playing on the ice as the in the stands host with the WHL Regina Pats Hockey Club. And now we welcome Ryan to the heart of the prairies as the new co-host for Manitoba Wake Up Crew on NCI.
