Goldeye’s picked as top team

The Winnipeg Goldeyes have been selected as the American Association of Professional Baseball League’s Organization of the Year.

It’s the third straight award for the Fish.

Goldeyes General Manager Andrew Collier says in a release that the award is a “credit to the amount of time and effort” put forth by the team’s front office staff.

He also says the support from the team’s fans is “amazing.”

Over the past 11 years, the Goldeyes have been recognized as their league’s best franchise eight times.
