North end stabbing, shooting sends two to hospital

Two Winnipeg men are recovering in hospital following violent attacks early this morning in the north end.

Shorty after 4:00 a.m. a 23 year old man shot in the 400 block of Aberdeen Avenue.

A little less than 90 minutes later, emergency crews were called out to the 1600 block of Burrows Avenue because a 25 year old man had been stabbed.

Both victims are said to be in stable condition.

Police say their information on the attacks is limited at this timeĀ and the force is continuing its investigation.
