Robbery suspect stabbed, two arrested

Two Winnipeg men have been arrested in connection with a grocery store robbery.

Police allege 24-year-old Henry Duck and 26-year-old Jonah Gerard Moody were disguised and had a weapon when they robbed the store in the 900 block of Selkirk Avenue on Saturday night.

They didn’t get any cash, but took off with some merchandise.

A short while later, Duck and Moody were allegedly involved in a fight with a third man.  It escalated to bloodshed and one of the robbery suspects was taken to hospital with multiple stab wounds.

Police say they haven’t arrested anyone suspected of carrying out that assault.
