a symbol of love

Surely we could’ve chose something better!

They are loud

territorial,

violent,

aggressive,

terrifying,

SO WHY are they an emblem of love?

SURELY we could come up with something better, like a penguin, just off the top of my head.
That one, you can get close to, and even pet. They choose one mate forever, why couldn’t it be penguins as the symbol of love.
