Another arrest made in St. Georges double homicide

An arrest has been made in a double murder from February 2017 in St. Georges, Manitoba.
RCMP say they have 54-year-old Claude Francis Guimond of Fort Alexander, Manitoba in custody.
He has been charged with two counts of first degree murder in what Mounties have described as a “targeted shooting.”
Guimond’s arrest is the second in connection with the slaying 35-year-old Steven Chevrefils and 43-year-old Jody Brown .
Jason Alexander Bruyere was arrested shortly after the crime was committed, but charges against him were dropped the very next day.
