Arrest made in Oxford House slaying

Mounties are investigating after a 45-year-old man from Oxford House was stabbed early Monday morning. The victim has not been further identified.

Emergency responders sent the injured man to Oxford House’s nursing station in stable condition.
While there, his condition worsened and he succumbed to his injuries at 9:45 PM Monday night, just 19 hours after the incident was called into police.

Under arrest for her alleged involvement in the killing is 38-year-old Cecelia Bradburn of Oxford House.  She makes her first court appearance on a Manslaughter charge in Thompson tomorrow.
