DESCRIPTION:NCI FM is pleased to sponsor the 1st Annual Indigenous Veterans Day Traditional Pow Wow on Saturday\, November 8th at 1pm. \nThis annual gathering is a sacred and powerful opportunity for us to honour and remember the contributions of First Nations\, Inuit\, and Métis veterans who have served Canada in times of war\, conflict\, and peace. Their sacrifices and courage have too often gone unrecognized in our nation’s history\, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure their legacies are acknowledged and celebrated. It’s about bringing together the community\, veterans\, Elders\, families\, youth\, and everyone who wants to attend\, in a space of healing\, pride\, and unity. In addition\, they will be hosting a feast to honour our veterans in keeping with Indigenous cultural traditions of gratitude and respect.
