If you don’t own a watch, you can still find out what time of night it is easily enough by carrying around a trumpet.

With a trumpet, you can always start playing it loudly outside of someone’s window and, eventually, someone will open up a window to yell something like, “don’t you know it is two o’clock in the morning?!” at you.

And then you know the time.
