Gas Prices Soar for Fly In Community as the Winter Roads Get Set to Open
Sources in the Island Lake Region report that gas prices are soaring for the fly in community of Red Sucker Lake. A liter of gas currently goes for $2.98 the First Nations Community. That’s more than double the price of what it usually goes for which is $1.68. Current reports say that Red Sucker Lake is the only community affected by the Price Increase so far. That’s not good news for the locals with the opening of the Winter roads looming. Currently in the city of Winnipeg the price for a liter of gas goes for as low as $00.92 cents, making the Red sucker Lake gas price more than three times expensive.
