Gone pickin’ once again…

A saying which doesn’t make sense.

 

 

“Don’t judge a book by its cover”

 

 

That’s what the covers job is!

It protects the book as well, but you can’t tell what a book is about unless you check the cover.

I guess you don’t really have to judge per say, maybe inspect and decide, form an opinion.

That itself though is the definition of the word judge.

I have to judge. I mean like I’m not into green eggs n ham anymore. So I would definitely judge in that department.

another thing that contradicts this saying!

“the clothes make the man” is just completely opposite to “don’t judge a book by it’s cover.
