Honda has put out a recall on 84,000 of their vehicles in Canada. It’s part of an ongoing recall on air bag inflators that could explode and injure riders.

The recall covers many Honda and Acura models from 2001 through 2010. Affected models include:

Honda Accord from 2001 through 2007

CR-V from 2002 through 2006

Civic from 2001 through 2005,

Element from 2003 through 2010,

Odyssey from 2002 through 2004,

Pilot from 2003 through 2008

Ridgeline from 2006.

Also covered are Acura luxury models including the MDX from 2003 through 2006, the EL from 2001 through 2005, the TL from 2002 and 2003 and the CL from 2003.

Vehicles covered include those that were under previous recalls and others that have had air bags replaced after collisions.

This is pretty cool.  If you want to see if your car is being recalled, Honda has a VIN Recall/Product Update Lookup. All you have to do is put your VIN number in and it looks up any recall on your car.
