JUNOS RETURNING TO SASKATOON
The 49th annual Juno Awards are returning to Saskatoon. For the first time in over a decade, the country’s biggest celebration of Canadian music will take place in the Saskatchewan city. A week of events will culminate with the broadcast on March 15,2020. It’ll be the first time the Junos have landed in Saskatoon since 2007 when host Nelly Furtado picked up five awards on the back of her chart-topping third studio album “Loose”. The Junos returned to the province in 2013 when they took place in Regina. Next year’s Junos will be broadcast live on CBC from the SaskTel Centre. This year’s Junos will be held Sunday March 17th in London, Ontario hosted by Sarah McLachlan and also broadcast live on CBC.
