Nicholas Cage as Superman
For real. It was so close, but became toast.
Back in 1998, Almost ten years after Tim Burton released his version of batman he just about succeeded in also portraying Superman.
Nicholas Cage was to be that superman, in a the film titled “Superman lives”.
The movie turned out to be too ambitious at the time and was seen as a project that would not succeed, so it was scrapped.
Test Footage and images have been shared across the internet, but is one of the hidden gems among the web.
Gotta be honest here, the suit looks like a toy.
The superhero did ending up making the cut and was released about the same time was Blade.
Maybe it was the suit that got the movie rolling.
