Snubs and Surprises – 2021Golden Globe Noms
The 20121 Golden Globes were announced, and of course there were some snubs and surprises!
Sex and the City star, Sarah Jessica Parker along with Empire star, Taraji P. Henson announced the 78th Annual Golden Globes nominations, and yes, there were some surprises and some snubs.

Before we get to the list though, there is something that is making people smile. It’s been a long time coming, but this is the first time 3 women have been nominated for “Best director” at the Golden Globes, at the same time. Can you believe that! The FIRST time! Regina King, Chloe Zhao and Emerald Fennell all got a nom in that category. Previous to that, ONLY 5 women in total have ever been nominated for Best Director in the Golden Globes 77 year history.
