Step aside Highwaymen, the Highwoman are rollin through!

The country music super group known as the Highwaymen is getting a women’s version!

Brandi Carlile along with life long friend Amanda shires and rising star Margo Price are putting together the HighWoman.
It’s a play on words and also pays homeage to the country super group known as the Highwaymen. Which Waylon jennings, Kris Kristofferson along with Willie Nelson and Johnny cash put together in the 80’s.

The new group intends to start recording this March with no set date when the tracks would be released.

Brandi carlile took home two Grammy awards this year for best American roots song, and best american roots performance.
Following Brandi is Amanda shires with three awards given in 2018.
also upp and coming rising star Margo Price was nominated for best new artist for the 2019 Grammy awards.

The group also went on to say that they will include other country superstars such as Shania Twain.
