The WHL’s Kootenay Ice are moving to Winnipeg!

 In NCI News

The Kootenay Ice WHL franchise that plays its’ home games in Cranbrook, BC is on it’s way to Manitoba! I don’t know what to say about ANOTHER hockey team moving to Winnipeg other than the fact that it’s exciting for now. We have the Jets, an NHL franchise that needs 100% support every night of the week or that Bettman guy is gonna yank it and put it in Huntsville, Alabama or some Southern US market. The AHL affiliate of our beloved Jets, the Manitoba Moose seems to have a hard time keeping the seats filled on a nightly basis and one that is having a new arena built for them. The market is oversaturated. I don’t know what else to say other than… GO ICE!
