Thirty years later and its the same stage, still capturing the spirit of Manitoba; just more legendary.
As I dug around for some info about the very first Country Fest, I found out that Ernest Monias also played that time! Now that is cool.
Take a look, it really does scream 90’s,
like Back when a hoe was a hoe
Coke was a coke
And crack’s what you were doing
When you were cracking jokes
Back when a screw was a screw
The wind was all that blew
And when you said I’m down with that
Well it meant you had the flu.

Not only Ernest Monias, but also Errol Ranville & the C-Weed band played that year.

Man that must’ve been something, as it turns out I have a cousin who attended that, shes not coming instead, and boy is that person going to miss out.
One thing’s for sure, were gonna dance like its 1990!
Other things that will happen for sure? NCI FM on location doing giveaways and smiling away. (with the occasional dance move)
