Dreamer, 46, shared his thoughts on the current state of the wrestling business as both a performer & promoter, as he is a producer for IMPACT! Wrestling on the Fight Network & runs his own promotion called House of Hardcore, streaming on Twitch. He mentioned that the business is as strong now as it has ever been, from independently produced (non-WWE) events drawing over 11,000+ people to fans around the world tuning in live to Japanese matches streaming online overnight,
The Innovator of Violence, as he is known, still maintains a full-time schedule performing around the world in as many as 200+ matches per year. Dreamer stated that his experiences over his career may have made him the biggest wrestling fan of all, spotlighting his experiences sharing locker rooms and watching greats like Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko & Rey Mysterio Jr. on Friday nights in 1990’s ECW to being backstage at All In, that independently produced event that drew 11,000+ wrestling fans from all over the world.
