Talent behind Canada’s most iconic laugh, was also the voice of the Vancouver transit system

 In NCI News

Just last year, Canadian Icon Seth Rogen volunteered his voice to the Vancouver Transit system.
This happened over in the social media platform Twitter; where a post from from a Vancouver news reporter suggested Seth Rogen be the new voice of the transit system.

Seth Rogen wasn’t first choice however, as Morgan Freeman was set to be the voice. That all changed when Freeman started facing controversy.

Seth Rogen replied back almost immediately after seeing the suggestion; to which the Trans Link company than responded as well.

Fast Forward a year later from that time, and you could ride the Vancouver transit system, as well as Toronto transit system and be greeted by some funny quirks on etiquette only an iconic voice would deliver.
The campaign on transit etiquette would go on to include 13 recordings that ran from July 26 2018, to the end of October 2018.
Seth of course being the Canadian he is, did this service for free.

Seth points out Train manners and etiquette such as:

  • COURTESY SEATS

  • BAGS ON SEATS

  • CELLPHONES

  • FEET ON SEATS

  • WALK ON THE LEFT, STAND ON THE RIGHT

  • BLOCKING THE DOORS

  • PERSONAL AUDIO DEVICES

  • PERFUMES & COLOGNES

His Voice may be now gone from those places, but you can always find them here.
